Anderson Audio is beginning a Central Pennsylvania Audio Engineering Society chapter. It is planned to be a hybrid professional/educational chapter. Information about the AES (as it is known) will be available at our first event. Anderson Audio is pleased to invite you to a unique and exciting event as Anderson Audio will be hosting the first in a series of AES Guest Speakers to enhance and improve our audio community.
As an AES chapter we will be able to host guest lectures and presentations by professionals in the audio industry. This is a rare opportunity to gain access to the persons in the industry that we model our work after. We will also organize chapter visits to facilities of interest in the surrounding markets. The AES convention (which moves between NYC and San Francisco) is an amazing event that allows networking, workshops and exhibits by all of the industry manufacturers. This is an excellent place to catch up with friends in the biz, see and check out new products in the biz, attend workshops to sharpen your skills and talk to manufacturers about things you like, don’t like or always wanted to know. I cannot begin to describe the varied and vast activities of the AES but I do believe that as we aspire to be leaders in our region’s audio industry, membership in the organization will prove its benefits not only to our employees but all members of the audio community.
